1. The Committee reserves the right of refusing or canceling any entry without reason for doing so.
2. Any person guilty of improper of insulting behavior at any time towards the Committee or any member there of or any Steward of any official in relation to their or his official duties may be disqualified or suspended for such periods as the Committee thinks fit, or may be expelled from the Society. No exhibitor shall be permitted to be with the Stewards or Judges during the time of judging unless by special request of the Stewards. The exhibitors or any other person infringing this rule shall be at once disqualified.
3. Any Steward who is an exhibitor must excuse themselves from the judging area for the duration of the judging of the class in which they exhibit.
4. In the event of the Judge considering exhibits unworthy of a prize, no prize will be awarded.
5. Any exhibitor bringing an exhibit to the ground and willfully failing to exhibit shall be liable to disqualification at the pleasure of the Committee on the recommendation of the Stewards.
6. No award ribbon other than those awarded at the Show shall be placed on any exhibit whilst on the showground without the consent of the Stewards for the section in which it is entered.
7. All prize money will be distributed by the Treasurer after 4pm the second day of the Show. When exhibitors collect exhibits prize money must be collected from the Show office located in the pavilion. Any exhibit prize money not collected from the show ground will revert to the Coonamble Show Society Inc to dispose of will. The Show Office in the main street will not re open after the Show we do not have the man power to enable this to happen.
8. The Committee reserves the right to alter or amend the program or abridge or postpone the gathering in the event of unfavorable weather of from any other causes whatsoever. In the event of any of the foregoing circumstances the Committee reserves the right to withhold the awarding of any special trophies, prize money or any percentage of prize monies they may see fit.
9. The decision of the Committee to be final in each case.
10. Horses will be measured under protest or by the Chief Steward on the appropriate Ring.
11. The Society will not be responsible for any accident caused through or by any exhibitor, and will not be under any circumstances responsible for the loss or miss delivery of LIVESTOCK or any exhibition of any kind or for any damage done thereto.
12. The Judge shall have the power to disqualify and mark as disqualified any exhibit, which in his/her opinion doesn’t comply with the regulations and shall enter the reason in his /her book. In the event of any protest or disqualification being upheld, the next award on order shall take its place.
13. If any doubt arises or if any protest is entered against the correctness of the entry, the Executive may demand a Statutory Declaration from person lodging to complaint and shall take evidence pro and con regarding the question is dispute. Such or any protest must be accompanied by the deposit of $50 lodged with the Secretary no later than 20 minutes after the conclusion of the event which may be forfeited should the Ground Jury deem frivolous. The decision of the Ground Jury to be final. Any exhibitor having made a false statement or entry shall be subject to all or any of the following penalties. Forfeiture of prize, preventing the exhibit again being shown, or expulsion from the Society.
14. Stallions shall be barred from all Hack Classes and may also be barred from any Class in the Schedule at the discretion of the Judge or Ringmaster. Led stallions must be shown with a bit.
15. Vehicles containing supplies will be admitted to the ground free of charge up to 10am on the morning of the Show but they must leave the ground as soon as unloaded or requested or requested to do so by the Stewards and Officials.
16. All Exhibits must be the bona fide property of the exhibitor at the time of entry and no two owners shall be allowed to enter and exhibit unless they are a bona fide firm or partnership. Such firm of partnership may only enter an exhibit where such exhibit is associated with their usual business activities.
17. Excepting bread, cakes, scones, vegetables and flowers, all Pavilion Exhibits including needlework and paintings must be handed to the Secretary as provided for in the Schedule. Bread, cakes, scones and flowers will be accepted at the Pavilion between 8am and 9.30am on the morning of the Show. Cattle, sheep, dogs, poultry and wool as stated in the Schedule.
18. Any person who after entering exhibits, especially of stock shall be unable through unforeseen circumstances to exhibit same, will be expected to give notice to the Secretary of their inability to exhibit at least three days before the Show, to enable the Stewards to make any changes which may be necessary.
19. No exhibit to be removed until 4pm on the second day of the Show unless by the special permission of the Secretary. Any person infringing this rule will be liable to be disqualified from exhibiting at any future Show and if the exhibitor has been awarded a prize such will be liable to forfeiture.
20. Applications for passes must be made to the Secretary prior to the Show.
21. No person other than the Officials or Press representatives to enter the Ring with the Judges during competitions.
22. All dogs on the Showground must be kept on a lead and under control at all times.
23. All sheep entries are to be supported by a current footrot free certificate.
24. All Rams exhibited must be from Brucellosis Free Studs.
25. Whips used on the Coonamble Showground must have a 5cm long x 2cm wide flap and must not exceed 72cm in length, excluding the flap.
MACHINERY, MOTOR VEHICLE, GROUND AND PAVILION SPACE
Ground and Pavilion space shall be made available at the discretion of the Society to any person firm agent or representative who shall be a financial member of the Society for the display of machinery.
Motor vehicles and General Display purposes: A charge will be made per meter of frontage and charges will be given on application to the Secretary.
All Commercial Space Holders must show receipt to gain entry to the ground or admission rates will be charged
A Ribbon will be awarded to the Best Commercial Space Holder in the Ground and Pavilion Space areas.
